Venezuela earthquake toll nears 3,000 as families search rubble for their dead
At least 2,954 people have died in the earthquake doublet that struck northern Venezuela on 24 June, one of the deadliest natural disasters in the country's history. Eleven days on, roughly 50,000 remain unaccounted for and the operation is turning from saving lives to recovering bodies.
