status.lu is an independent editorial journal covering Luxembourg — politics, finance, EU policy, culture, and the Greater Region — published in English, French, German, and Luxembourgish. We publish daily from a newsroom in Luxembourg City and a satellite office at Belval.
The Grand Duchy is one of the most globally connected economies on Earth, host to Europe's second-largest investment-funds centre, the European Investment Bank, the European Court of Justice, and a cross-border workforce of more than 220,000 people. And yet the country is chronically under-reported. status.lu exists to change that — to treat Luxembourg with the editorial seriousness usually reserved for larger jurisdictions, and to do so in the languages its readers actually speak.
How we work
Our reporting follows the status.lu editorial principles: independence from advertisers and ownership, attribution to named human reporters, on-record sourcing where possible, and prompt correction of errors via our corrections page.
Ownership and funding
status.lu is owned by Status.lu Media, a Luxembourg-registered private limited company. We disclose our ownership and funding structure publicly on our ownership page.
