Luxembourg's copper phone network nears its 2030 switch-off
POST Luxembourg is winding down the country's copper fixed-line telephone network ahead of a definitive switch-off around 2030. Only 15,500 analogue copper connections were left at the end of 2025, and the regulator is urging customers to migrate to fibre and check every device — from alarms to lift phones and telecare pendants — that still dials out over the old line.
