Luxembourg School System: Public, Multilingual and International Routes
Luxembourg begins compulsory education at four and extends it to 18 from the 2026/27 school year. The residence commune handles ordinary primary placement, while the SIA guides newly arrived pupils and international pathways broaden language choices.
