Abelardo de la Espriella, a hardline lawyer endorsed by Donald Trump, won Colombia's 21 June runoff over progressive senator Iván Cepeda by under one percentage point, ending the leftist Petro era and pulling one of Latin America's largest democracies sharply to the right.
